Trefresa Farm, North Cornwall
Our festival tickets include all music, theatre, yoga, talks, kids activities and 80% of the workshops, with additional activities such as feasts, wellbeing treatments and the Wavehunters programme being separately bookable.
We love parties as much as the next person but we want to maximise the daytimes at Porthilly Spirit, so we’ve chosen to run our music programme until 00:30 with acoustic and fireside activities after that. See you for breakfast.
The farm gates will be open from 12noon until 10pm on Friday 24th May, 10am until 10pm on Saturday 25th, Sunday 26th May. Any Weekend Ticket Holders are kindly asked to vacate the site by 12noon on Monday 27th May.
Will have access to the campsite from midday on Friday 24th May and access to the festival itself from 2pm. These tickets are for 18s and over. Weekend Camping ticket holders are invited to the Welcome Supper with Hidden Hut on Friday evening. More information about event can be found here.
FULL WEEKEND CAMPING — TEEN/CHILD/INFANT
All under 18s must be accompanied by a ticket holding adult. Infant 0-4 years. There is no charge for infants but you do need to register for a ticket on the tickets page here.

Day tickets are available to purchase for Friday 24th (2pm to 2am), Saturday 25th or Sunday 26th May (11am to 2am).
A limited number of day tickets are available for neighbours of Trefresa Farm within certain post-codes. These are now available to buy in person from St Minver Post Office. Proof of address will be required for ticket purchasing. These tickets are available on a first come first served basis. Tickets are free for those 12 and under and £15 per day for those 13 years and above.

We sadly cannot offer refunds for any type of ticket purchased, this includes Boutique Camping, Feasts and Activities.
All festival tickets will be print at home barcoded tickets which will be exchanged for wristbands at the box office on arrival.
There will be plenty of space in our camping field for you to bring your own tent. There will be access to showers, toilets and wash stations. Sadly we cannot allow gazebos, awnings or trailer tents in the campsite. The campsite is in close proximity to the carpark, so no lugging bags for miles.
For those less keen on pitching their own, there are several Boutique camping options available here. All Boutique options come with real beds (not an air bed in sight!), full bedding and access to luxury showers and toilets.
If you’d like to bring your live-in vehicle, passes can be bought when purchasing Weekend tickets. There will be a designated live-in vehicle field with showers and toilets. Sadly we can’t offer any electric hookups. Live-in vehicle pitches are limited to 5m x 5m and for fire safety reasons tents or awnings are not permitted in amongst the live-in vehicles.

You will be able to book all activities and feasts in due course on this website. Please sign up to our mailing list to be the first to hear when new activities become available. You will also need to be signed up to hear the information of where to meet nearer the time.

Porthilly beach is about a 20 minute walk down the footpath from the Farm or you can take our Shuttle Bus into Rock to go to the beach there.
Other nearby beaches are Rock and Polzeath which are both a short drive away. If you book onto Wavehunters activities there will be a Land Rover shuttle to and from the farm.
Children (12 years and under) will be issued with white wristbands, on which parents/guardians contact telephone details can be written.
There will be children’s activities happening across the farm including workshops, games and other entertainment. All personnel working within these areas for any length of time will be DBS checked and submit necessary credentials and references.
The Medical Tent will be acting as the Lost/Found Children hub.
We love dogs but sadly no dogs are allowed on the farm apart from assistance dogs.
We encourage all guests to bring reusable cups with them for coffee and hot drinks and reusable water bottles to fill at any of our water points. We will also be using a deposit scheme at the bar for reusable cups, to avoid the use of single-use plastics.
The dealing in or use of illegal drugs at Porthilly Spirit will not be tolerated. Drug enforcement laws are applicable on this site and will be enforced by our security personnel. If you deal or use drugs, you may be liable to arrest and prosecution in accordance with National Law. Neither anti-social or illegal behavior shall be tolerated and guests shall leave themselves liable to eviction from the event. Experimenting with drugs can also lead to an adverse reaction. If you do take any substances and do become ill, depressed or frightened, please inform a member of staff who will direct you to our on-site medical team who will be able to help and support you.
No one likes litter. There will be general bins and recycling bins located across the farm. Please help us keep the farm as beautiful as possible and use bins provided.
Lost property will be located at the Information Hub. Any items found should be handed in there, and if you discover you have misplaced any items over the weekend - do check there first before departing from the farm. Following the event you will be able to email email@example.com to try and locate your items.
MEDICAL & WELFARE
We have a dedicated Medical Centre on the farm, so if for whatever reason you feel unwell, or in need of a safe space, please visit the Centre and we will be able to help. Do also look after your fellow festival goers and alert members of the staff if you see someone who may be in trouble.
Car parking is free and will be well signposted once you arrive at the farm.
We are unable to allow any of the following items on the farm either in the campsites or in the festival itself:
- Illegal substances
- Nitrous Oxide Canisters
- Fire pits or fire baskets
- Disposable BBQs
- Laser Pens
- Aerosols over 250ml
- Excessive amounts of alcohol (ie. no more than 8 x 300ml cans of beer / lager / cider per person OR 6 x 300ml cans of beer / lager / cider per person and 1 75cl bottle of wine (which must be decanted into a plastic bottle) per person.
- High power torches
- Personal sound systems
- Gas canisters
- Animals except assistance dogs
- Psychoactive substances
- Knives or any kind of offensive weapons
- Chinese lanterns
- Paraffin lamps
At Porthilly Spirit we take the safety and care of our guests with the utmost importance. If you notice anything strange or untoward, please report it to a member of the event team or one of our friendly security staff, to let them know.
A minibus shall be organised that will operate a shuttle service from the Rock Car Park to and from the farm. This will operate between the hours of 10am to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday to minimise the number of pedestrians on the road between Rock and the farm.
Porthilly Spirit takes place on Trefresa Farm, a privately owned erstwhile dairy farm located on the north Cornwall coast. If you’re arriving to the site via car please use the postcode PL27 6NF, then follow signs to Porthilly Spirit. Here are some of the best ways to make your journey to Porthilly Spirit...
The nearest station is Bodmin Parkway which is 16 miles away and should take around half an hour by car. For more information please visit National Rail.
The farm is approximately twenty-five minutes from Bodmin. We envisage most guests will reach Bodmin via the A30. From Bodmin take the A389 towards Wadebridge and then onto the B3314 towards Rock. Before you reach Rock you will reach a left hand turn at the junction signposted towards Dinham Caravan Park, at the T-Junction at the end of this road, take a left hand turn to take you into the car park. There will be no festival access for cars via Rock Road. Please be sure to take this route to avoid causing congestion in Rock.
Newquay Airport is just under half an hour away. Flybe and Vueling offer cheap flights which take approximately hour from London Heathrow and Gatwick respectively.
Pedestrian access to the farm will be via Shores Lane to Gate 2.

DROP OFF AND PICK UP POINT
The drop off and pick up point will be situated at GATE 1, inside the main carpark.
Remember to keep your valuable safe at all times. Only bring with you what you’ll need for the weekend. We would recommend locking any valuable in your car, out of sight, for safekeeping. You’ll be able to access the car park at any time, which is in the field next to the campsite. There will also be some storage lockers available in the campsite for small items.
