Sarah Corbett — Craftivism
Saturday, Talks Barn
Sarah Corbett is an award-winning activist, author and Ashoka Fellow. She grew up in a low-income area of Liverpool and is now the founder of the global Craftivist Collective providing craftivism (craft + activism) products and services for individuals, groups and organisations around the world to be effective craftivists using her ‘gentle protest’ methodology.
This is a form of slow, quiet and kind activism using craft. Sarah’s craftivism campaign projects have helped change government laws, business policies as well as hearts and minds. Her book “How To Be A Craftivist: the art of gentle protest” is available now.
